Classic won’t be going to Legion, and even if it did you can’t transfer those cosmetics to your main account.

Say what you want on your personal opinion on whether they should come back or not, but anyone pretending mage tower challenges were hard by ToS, let alone by ABT is some combination of ignorant, delulul, or extremely bad at the game.
Pretty sure it will and well at least you would get the stuff you want why does the version matter. I also went back to mop classic to get my sets I cant get on retail I dont understand what the issue here is. If you want something from the past and its available in another version why not get it?

Bring them back to retail and scale them to a lvl/ilvl threshold. Putting them in remix would be dumb.

putting them in remix would keep them rare still, its not like people (like me for example) who are asking for them are wanting them to just be mailed to me in my mailbox, having them behind an updated mage tower is what i think most of us want. remix is probably going to run for the same amount of time or more than mop which was about 95~ days or so? and after that it is set to return at some unspecified date in the future

Because my account is nearly 20 years old and I have a connection to my characters? I’m not going to quit retail so I can go start all over again in a DoA game mode that has no real future.

This event was literally the perfect time to reintroduce them to the game. In my opinion it’s the only thing people really wanted.

Ok well guess we dont think alike. If its a doa game mode then I would even be more willing to get what I couldnt get from the past as then it would be more likely they give us transfers later on no? I mean, you do you I am not ruling out things and rather do my homework
I think the issue most people have with them coming to remix is the fact it invalidates the challenge, which it would. MoP remix was dumb easy and I’m sure Legion remix will be as well. Scaling them to a similar difficulty to say the delve challenges would keep them rare in the fact that not everyone has the mechanical skill to do them.
Personally, I hate FOMO in games so idc about things being rare. I have several unavailable pets/mounts on my account and have no issues with them being brought back. That said, compromise is key.
contrary to popular belief many people who’ve played what’s available on the ptr says they sucked out all of the fun scaling stuff mop had, so, it’s not like you’ll be able to instagib things in the same way as in mop remix
It was never a challenge to begin with.
I never did them, I wasn’t subbed so I have no clue. However, several members of the forums are so keen on them being one of the hardest challenge in the game. /shrug

Some of them were easier then others, but overall for its time, they were difficult. The number of people who were successful pre nerfs was like 1-2% and post nerfs were still lower then 5% i think. I don’tt fully remember which was considered the hardest but I think druids were in that category?
feral druid (pre revamp (I think 7.3 was revamp of the entire spec)) was the hardest with survival hunter. Pretty sure in terms of dps.
I watched videos of some of them, and what I ascertained from the few I saw is they were similar in difficulty to the delves challenges.
I don’t really care how tough they were, or what difficulty they should be IF they are brought back. Some of those appearances are pretty dope, it’s a shame to let them sit locked in a vault.
This is a direct contradiction. You can easily use the achievement system for flexing. Imagining gatekeeping what your pixels look like in 2025.
And FYI it is more apt to say they are not bringing them back yet. How many times has this company walked back on their prior decisions?
