I have a question. Is there a Mage spec that has a better chance to deliver a Staff over the Main hand and Off Hand? On the Loot Specialization thing?
Every weapon type has the same chance of dropping. If you want to farm a staff, you will just have to farm the dungeons/raid bosses that drop one.
Only guaranteed way to get a 460 staff is to progress your conquest up to the 460 staff point which was just hit last week. I don’t remember how many bars you have to fill, but it would be the more direct way without hoping for RNG. A 440 one is available from your first conquest cap, however.
