Since we’re getting a rework in 10.1.5, is it possible to get an updated Ice Barrier? The trash in Ruby Life Pools use a beautiful 3D animated one, similar to Arcane’s Prismatic Barrier and Fire’s Fire Barrier? It’s already in game!
And when are we getting the new portal animations introduced in Shadowlands? They’re so beautiful and also already in game just not for the Mage spells!

Some races should even be allowed to use special portals:
Void portal for Void Elves
Sparkly, holy portals for Lightforged
Watery portals for Kul’tirans
man, shadow priest still don’t have shadow barrier. We’re lucky to have three variants.
They deserve stuff too! I’m just saying, we already have these spell effects in game, they just need to be added to our abilities. Seems like an easy thing to do. Probably get the generic “WoW is so old and the code so wonky, doing this would break the game!”
I’ll take a toggle option for the felo melorn balls while we’re at it. Already exists too

Arcane needs more flash. I know you don’t want it to blind people so you can spread the ability out visually while keeping it translucent like. Right now their attacks look thin and wispy.
They should also be able to do fun cosmetic stuff like the wands that turn people into other things out of combat. They can already know every language and copy a persons look but why not effect other people. And if someone doesn’t want that they can use that blocker thing like they have for people who don’t want to be tugged around by priests and drakthyr.
I always saw mages as the life of the party. Dazzling while they fight but blizz has dulled them so much it’s pathetic. Legion was so fun as a fire mage cause of the hijinks i could do while i fought things. I liked being able to burst things and drop fire on the ground. Make them fun to watch again. I wanna see a show as they fight.
Void-colored frost spells are my dream.
Would probably jump into Fire Mage and never look back.
The only thing I want more than blue fire is water Tidesage themed spells for Frost Mage. Waterbolt, Scald (Instead of Flurry), Whirlpool (Instead of Frozen Orb), etc., but I know they would never go that far.
So here I wait patiently for Blue Fire.
This is such an annoying issue for many classes. When my shaman first got to dragon land I was like “wait where did they fire elemental come from why is mine so ugly and old in comparison look at these lightning spells they’re doing! I’m embarrassed I wanna go home.”
Mage literally still uses some 2004 graphics for certain spells, which is way more embarrassing.
