Something weird is going on with the mage shoulders after patch 10.1.7. They have this weird square artifacting issue with white lines around the edges.

Same issue here. I hope it gets fixed sooner rather than later, this is my favorite mage set in awhile.

Same here. Its odd cause I only see it on my character but not other players in city. Fix soon please

Still going on 9/23. Shoulders are emitting a weird blocky shape of white light around the edges of the particle effect.
still messed up, wish they would fix this…
this effects raid, normal, heroic and gladiator shoulder armor. Mythic and elite do not appear to have this visual issue.

Glad I’m not the only one, thought it was something weird in my settings at first. It’s distracting and ruins the overall look of the set! Hope it gets fixed but who knows.

I am having this same issue on my Underlight Shoulders normal set. Like OP and others have said, it has a blocky wierd glow emitting from the shoulders.

So I also noticed the Tier19 set from mythic Nighthold has a similar issue with blocking on the shoulders. I don’t know if this is a mage specific issue but it sure seems to be. Hope this gets fixed!

I did notice in the collections tab, the mythic set doesn’t seem to have the issue. But I don’t have the actual set so I can’t confirm if it’s bugged or not. It just displays correctly in the collection tab

So I copied my mage to the 10.2 PTR and the visual bug is gone. Now. Does that mean the patch fixed it? Hopefully. But it could also be some weird difference I have between my settings on Live and on the PTR.
But there’s reason to hope that they actually have fixed the bug and we’ll have a decent mog again.

I hope so. The aurora effects on the shoulders are the best parts of those sets, in my opinion.
