In duels they heal more than some specs can possibly do damage to them. It transfers into 2s/3s too its not any weaker. Mage already has massive damage and CC, PLEASE they do not need healing too.

Its broken in Arena though and you know it. I’ve seen mages heal for more than Dks in games. Why should someone who spams poly and gpryo all game also heal everytime they blink for so much? Pretty absurd
Also their shield is ridiculous the absorb feels too high

90% of my matches are vs either a rogue or a mage.
Mages are very over tuned.

My bad. I didn’t realize that a healer that goes oom in 3 minutes and has the weakest cc in the game is giving you so much trouble.

I always wonder what people playing tier 1 comps think when they get absolutely dominated by my disc/arms/frost.

With Blazing Soul talent and three Cauterizing Blink azerite traits a Fire Mage can heal/prevent 186k damage every 30 seconds in arena.
At 400+ ilvl they get Blazing Barrier shields for 42k and Cauterizing Blink heals for 30k (would be 60k but the heal is reduced by 50% in PvP). They get this every time they blink (every 15 seconds). On top of that they can manually apply Blazing Barrier for another 42k shield every 25 seconds.
If you think this is ok you are insane. If you think people can waste the globals dispelling trash buffs constantly to try and get barrier when it’s up you are stupid. If you think every comp has a dispel you are ignorant. If you defend this garbage while complaining about DH/DK/Fury/Destro tankiness and dampening games you are a hypocrite.

As far as i know, there arent very many mages running this for it to have this big of a qq thread.
I know a fair amount run triple caut but show me someone besides setback running triple caut AND blazing barrier consistently at any relevant rating. Maybe Vurtre? Idk. The 17hundos in durotar dont count.
