Can we revamp this system? 35 scrolls opened and I got only 2 Arcane Recoveries. I rarely saw any scrolls drop while leveling and I see almost none at max level. So I have to buy them off the AH and just hope I get a good buff? I can’t be the only one that dislikes this system. I spent 22g before last raid to get 2 each of all the 3 types of buffs.
The system is absolutely horrible. I spend about 100gold per lockout trying to get x2 arcane power scrolls. RNG really has to be in your favor as you slowly stack up on Recovery and Hit scrolls as well. Or you just ignore the whole thing and forget about top parses

No, scrolls shouldn’t have been introduced at all but if they are atleast make them a gold sink for the best gold farming class.

I couldn’t care less about some goofy polymorph scroll. Make arcane recovery have a decent drop rate.

It is not, I buy them @ around 30-50 silver per scroll, it’s ~ 1% chance to get arcane power from them. I have plenty of other scrolls at this point but the RNG is not on my side for the 1% crit scroll. You need on average around 100 scrolls (30-50g) to get 1 arcane power
I wish it was an exaggeration. They rarely drop so like Bestmage said it is like 30-50s per scroll. Plus 6-7s per comprehension charm to open the scroll. You have like 13 possible scroll options to drop? Just hoping to get a +hit or a +crit scroll. If you are parse oriented then it really adds up really quickly to try to get anything to use. It is a terrible system. I don’t need the resist scrolls or any more res scrolls. Drowning in res scrolls and I have been selling them as fast as I can too.
I’d like to see it revamped as a secondary profession like rogue poisons you level up and use farmed items to craft but at this point I doubt anything would change except the drop rate.

That sounds like an awesome concept. I wouldn’t care if it was hard to get or a lot of mats. Just knowing that I could create the scrolls I would need would be wonderful without the RNG BS mixed in with the high cost.
I, a filthy non parsing casual who is content with merely clearing the raid in my guild group every lockout, have a handful of rez scrolls and am otherwise ignoring this mechanic. The hit/crit scrolls would be nice but I’m not doing all that when we already clear the content.
