Your damaging spells are now instant but incur a cooldown based on their cast time and are 10 yrd range. You gain attack power based on your highest type spell power plus 100% of your intelligence. Your spell damage is reduced by 15% but you gain melee critical strike equal to your spell crit and hit chance equal to twice your standard spell hit. Melee critical hits increase your attack speed by 30% for 3 seconds.
(Melee hit based on gear and not increased by school specific or ring specific school. This would allow you to max melee hit and spell hit at equal levels at the same time)
As Arcane missiles is the only channeled damaging spell it would get a cast that looks like Arcane Barrage and you can move while each missile fires which would be based on missile barrage proc or hard cast. It is no longer interruptible. It would also have a cooldown based on its channel duration from missile barrage proc or a hard cast.

Blink has its mana cost and cooldown reduced by 50% and gives you 15% movement speed for 5 sec when cast. You may now stack armor spells and they are no longer dispellable. Ice armor now reduces physical damage by 15% instead of offering armor and mage armor now reads, “You take 10% reduced spell damage and recover 5% of your max mana per 5 sec”
You probably were half kidding about this but getting us at least mail level of armor would solve alot of our issues. One thing that is overlooked is the mentality that most want to target a Mage to get a free kill rather than target the hunter,warrior,shaman,pala,druid because they know it would take too long. There should be a hesitation to attack a Mage as well
