What is the better Mage spec for PVE in 8.1?

All three specs are in a good place right now… I think with Arcane being at the best. Think I might be picking up my mage now… Not liking the direction my main is headed…

I have had fairly similar results with all three.
Frost seems to have the lowest ceiling, but is more forgiving if something doesn’t go right.
Fire is my mid damage wise and is fun, just make sure to maximize your combustion.
Arcane does top damage for me, but I like to use more than one button.
Overall I am not a mythic raider and from top to bottom I don’t see a ton of difference between the three. Depending on the fight I can actually flip that around on which one performs better. The examples I gave are on that poor abused practise dummy in boralus.
On zul frost is my top, and taloc or G’huun it is fire.
We won’t really know who is top dog in the troll city raid until we get into it and see how the fights play out.
