Mage or warrior?

Warrior has the best sound effects for their abilities in the game. Very satisfactory to Unga-Bunga 9/10 Neanderthals agree

Iā€™m not a fan of mages. Too squishy. Portals are nice though.

I generally have awful gear but I never had any issue with my fury warrior. The rare times I got close to dying, Iā€™d heroic leap and run away lol Rotation seems fine though nothing is simpler than frost.

Fury is my current favorite dps class

For a beginner a warrior ,their far better than they use to be.

Fury and Frost are both very noob friendly.

Fury warrior is far more active and reactive and will have your fingers hitting keys like itā€™s whack-a-mole turned up to Insane Difficulty.

Frost mage is way more relaxed and allows you to stay out of range while keeping packs slowed and letting you get comfortable with itā€™s much less active rotation in comparison to fury, albeit still an active rotation since youā€™ll always have something to be casting or activating.

They both have pretty logical rotations and abilities that are easy to get the hang of and realize how the two specs work and flow effectively.

Oneā€™s in your face melee and the otherā€™s always at a distance casting. Theyā€™re much different play styles so which one you prefer is what decides it tbh.

Beastmaster Hunter is the most noob friendly class and spec in WoW by far. They have the easiest and shortest core rotation in the game. Pet Taming is rad too.

I find Destruction Warlock is pretty noob friendly as well.

Basically if youā€™re new go for classes with pets.

Only for people that donā€™t know how to play them.

Iā€™ve been playing a Frost Mage since Vanilla and if you know what youā€™re doing you can last quite a while.

Iā€™m totally not biased hereā€¦

I recommend warrior, personally. Has a bit more flexibility. Unfortunately both classes currently need to play around a ā€œstand in small circle to do damageā€ mechanic, though.

When you have a question with 2 wildly conflicting answers. itā€™s best to try both.

I love my Warrior for doing warrior stuff, I love my Mage for doing the ranged magic stuff, while trying to stay alive.

Itā€™s like asking if you want to eat Beef Stew or Fish Tacoā€™s, yes both are good, but also very different.

So play both until one hooks you, it wonā€™t take long for you to know if itā€™s a thing for you or not.

Take it from someone that plays mage and warrior most often when not playing warlock.

Warrior is way more fun than mage, to a surprising degree. You can really do a lot to set yourself apart from bad ones, to a degree those that donā€™t play war wonā€™t appreciate.
