Ive come back to the game after a few year away. Ive made mage my main for this expansion but have leveled several classes to max.
When I look at the fire sells used by locks or shaman , mage fire looks pathetic in comparison. Also I see things like how cool shadow priests look now and I ask myself why not some love and graphical upgrades for mages?
Lets be real, in addition to looking more boring than other classes our rotation can put you to sleep as well. If I am going to be bored with a one spell intil proc rotation at least make that one spell look cool! LOL

We just got all of our graphics updated at the end of Legion? Fire got its graphics updated twice, once at the beginning of Legion and again during the entire update for Mages.

Aside from the fact that Shadowform looks bad and has ever since they changed it, that’s all spriests do is look cool. Go on and play the red-headed step child spec tho.

Saddest part is that they did redo some of the spells not too long ago.
Warlock spells looks More ugly than Any mage spell except demon Bolt and hand of Guldan
Fire mage spell effects look pretty good imo. But one thing Blizz needs to make fire mages absolutely Epic and some other classes look good as well is add light sources to all spells where it would make sense. Fire mages would look awesome, arcane mages would be brighter, frost mages not so much. Paladins warlocks and priests would definitely benefit as well among others.
