after the blaster maser nerfs i cant do any dmg and its hard to land kills. gg mage it was fun while it lasted.

Troll post that trait changes nothing. Fire needs a 10% flat dmg nerf along with removing shimmer.

Yeah I’m sure it doing nothing was the reason every single Fire Mage stacked 3 of them in not just PvP but in everything.

Mages are fine. Even post nerf it’s still Fire’s best trait and all three specs have viable builds/comps. More than I can say for a lot of classes.

Wrong there are plenty of Rank 1 players not even using these traits. So just stop. Hence the reason it’s a troll thread. Fire mages need direct nerfs to damage and talents.

You are wrong. This trait while powerful wasn’t even being used by some players. So it fixes nothing.

Fire needs a flat 10% dmg nerf.

How are you going to compare Fire Mage the most broken OP spec in the game to Ret? There is no comparison at all. Fire is a God and it needs some direct talents nerfed, flat dmg nerf and shimmer removed. It would still be top tier after that happens just not broken.

Considering Fire wasn’t even on the table for any kind of content until it received 2 separate aura buffs, nerfing talents is a foolish way to address Fire right now. You have no idea how Mages work.

“Fire damage is completely over the top” is a vague statement that doesn’t really address anything specific. If you just hit the overall damage you return Fire to its previous problem of being too weak to justify taking over another DPS or Mage spec.

Fire is fine. The Blaster Master nerf won’t affect you if you’re not a bad player anyways. I get sick of seeing people QQ in forums because their class isn’t over powered anymore. That’s the only reason this trash warrior is in here complaining about Fire along with OP lol, because he’s upset that he was getting farmed by an Azerite Trait and its easier to QQ than it is to prove any anecdote he’s bringing up. Fire needed the aura buffs it got before people started using Blaster Master. Before Blaster Master, Fire was NOT the top mage pvp spec; Frost still was. The Azerite Trait was the only broken part about Fire spec. Meteor already got the 20% nerf when we got the last aura buff. Shimmer is fine, and doesn’t need to go anywhere. Neither does Greater Pyroblast. Shimmer still requires skill to land when you have to blink in an L-shaped pattern to land your Polymorph, and Greater Pyroblast is a 4 second cast. The vast majority of high xp/cr streamers have been spouting the same sentiments that I am commenting right now.
