I have been following the wowhead talent suggestions and trying to get a rune in Thousand Needles. Apparantly it is soloable, but usually need 2 mages. It is suggested to use frostbolt+cone of cold+frost nova+icelance. However I do not have cone of cold and on looking at the talent tree and the trainer, I do not see a rank 1 cone of cold anywhere. I see the trainer has Cone of COld rank 2 but not 1. It is not on the talent tree. Where is it?

(Posting on this alt because the forums will not let me switch to my 29 mage.)

You should be able to learn Cone of Cold from a mage class trainer at level 26.

The trainer does not offer it, only rank 2 which I cannot do since it requires rank 1, which I cannot find

Disable addons and try again.

I tried it did not work. Still no rank 1 Cone of cold. Did they move it to a rune or something? I see rank 2 and 3 listed later on down the trainer’s list, but no rank 1.
