I would love to see glyphs spec specific. like frost being in ice form how the pvp talent that replaces icy veins. fire being in a semi combustion look.
surprised that is not present for us. Boomkins get astral form!
I’d actually like to have a glyph that leaves an image of a phoenix after teleporting like for Kael’thas when he ports out of castle nathria after the encounter.
I’ve wanted stuff like this forever but sadly it’s never going to happen in WoW. Unless of course Kotick finally gets his way and they add a cash shop to the game that sells this sort of stuff. The only games that put in the time and resources into this kind of customization are sandbox ARPGs.
That said, there is absolutely zero reason why basic customizations to armor beyond the current transmog system aren’t implemented. Being able to change the colors of armor via a dye system has become an MMO staple with WoW being the only dinosaur refusing to implement it. Frankly, the only reason I can think of for why they have not implemented it yet is because 2/3 of the entire transmog collection is WoW is made up of recolors. If they implemented a dye system they’d actually have to put some effort into creating different visuals, lol.
The lack of spell recolors is even harder to defend because they’ve had the technology to do it ages ago as evidenced by Warlocks’ green fire and it’s a feature that has no drawbacks. It will only make players happy. But I guess that will go against Blizz’s current ideology, lol.
