Mage food/water

Lettuce be real tea here. How much do you think mages make sitting in Org/IF selling waters/food in a given day and do you think that people should be paying for their services?
I don’t think people should tip more than 25silver for a full trade window of food/water if someone were to tip. But that’s just me. How much do y’all tip?

The going price right now for food/water/port is 1 gold. Personally I agree that it’s way overpriced. It went from being a tip to give them some money for the rune reagent and to click a few buttons to now just a straight up price.

As long as mages require payment for their food/water, I’m not opening group lockboxes or locked chests (until everyone leaves)

The community has to all agree to stop paying these greedy mages.

The problem is the shear annoyance. You have any idea how many random messages a mage gets in every zone? Not to mention the time and mana to summon water/food? If you can gind a mage to do it for less, more power to you. The 1g “tip” eases the pain of getting 20 straighy tells in org wanting ports and food … which ill gladly do. For less than a gold it isnt worth my time or effort. If it was 1 person here and there … no problem. But its litterally hordes of people and mages are saving YOU money in the long run. Groups/ guild events aside which are free obviously.

I feel like trying to force mages to charge what you want to pay is the wrong way to go about it… Mages aren’t required to spend their time and effort making items or creating portals to save you time and money as they can simply just say “no”. Now, if a mage wants a leg up on the money making and offers his/her services for a bit cheaper that’s a different story. As far as “Butts” comment if you can pick locks then set your price and if people don’t want to pay it is what it is. It’s part of the game and people choose to play specific classes/professions because of the opportunity to make gold from the abilities.

No one is forcing anyone to buy portals, food/water or have locks picked… people are just simply offering a service for a fee.
