In exchange, we of the mage community will stop dogging on ret pallies. Im thinking like 3 percent to crit or something that is independent of other food buffs. This will give us a little more utility and make us feel pretty again. Discuss.

I mean conjured buns are a pretty classic part of our toolkit but havent been utilized in forever as Blizz keeps moving away from mana. This would be a nice way to revitalize the iconic spell without stepping on anyone else’s toes.

People should be able to buy mage food from us at a rate of 5g/20. It can be done by emoting /feedme to any nearby Mage. Or /settable to get a table for 20g.

Used to be 10 back when we were still cool. Now we are stuck with the dying embers of our once glorious legacy. Fitting theme for 10.1 i guess lol
I would say add a minor primary stat buff making it useful but not as good as well crafted meals and feasts

No need for a combat buff.
Just give them a fun glyph for it.
Add some volatile mana to the mixture causing the refreshments to have unexpected effects.
Randomly transform your character in some way.
Different race, gender, randomised appearance for the current race and gender etc.
Or if blizzard want to be fun again, make the character hallucinate and make the player see everyone else as random things like the Overtuned Corgi Goggles.
While fun sounding, what i really think rhe class needs is something to boost morale for the ever dwindling mage population. Id also consider being able to trade mana gems like lock cookies.
