I’ve been trying for weeks to get the mount. Two weeks ago I finished Breaching the Tomb. Since then I’ve been doing every class quest i was given and any story line that came from the class quests. Now I would like to know if The Emerald Nightmare: Essence of Power is needed for mount. I’m to collect 30 corrupted Essence, I’ve been thru that damn dungeon 2 times killing everything in sight and have as yet not found 1 essence. The quest states I can do it in normal or higher, I’ve done normal and heroic. Can anybody help please???

The only thing you need is your class hall completed, your 7.2 follower recruited (Aethas Sunreaver), and the broken shore quests completed. Not even all the quests on the Broken Shore either, just the ones that show up when you bring the map up. You know, that little thing that keeps track of the story on the side? All those. Once you have all those things, you should be able to pick up the mount quest.

The essence of power is part of the balance of power questline which unlocks an artifact skin.
Complete the class order hall campaign, do the 7.2 broken shore questline in full and recruit aethas and you should get the quest to start the class mount quest

There is the problem, there are no more quests in hall but when I open the map I see a quest called Avocation of Antonidas but when I go there I can see no quest.

Are you trying to get the quest from Kalec? or from Invoker Threadgold on the Broken Shore?

You pick up that quest on the broken shore and hand it in to kalec in your class hall so go check broken shore

Good luck! When we were all doing it in Legion it seemed simple, but going back now and trying to get things done can get a little confusing at times.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned but you do need to be Revered I believe with the Armies of the Legionfall or what ever faction it is before you are able to complete all the quests.
Outside that as people have said you should just need to do the class campaign up to 7.2.
There used to be a tracker on wowhead back in the day, not sure if it’s still available but might be worth taking a look.
Pretty sure they dropped the revered thing since I grabbed the mount on my Druid a few weeks back and she was not revered with anyone in Legion.
