You wont see that particular combination.
Its a meme/lol spec that requires a rng talent then a hardcasted pyroblast.
Its funny when the mage does it, but wont be seen in competitive play.

Ask any mage on the forums. This cannot be done by your average mage. Only 1800+ galaxy brains can press combust while the entire other team is cc’d.

AWC will be a different story, fire still great but not ladder insane.
Everyone will have BIS gear/enchants/gems every slot and access to full renown trees. Doubt fire will global anyone in cup
I’m curious to see what healthpools/dmg will look like then across board and if locks might get some decent play with it
I expect a good amount of games to be in dampen in AWC

Ladder and tourny are different.
Tourny realm has access to full renown trees, BiS max ilvl gear/enchants/gem slots and stuff like PVE trinkets at mythic ilvl if they choose too.
A mage might instant gib you on live but on tourny they won’t, not with those healthpools.
Those same reasons might allow locks some gameplay and spotlight on tourny since they will be much sturdier vs live.
Also your experience vs fire mages and combust is not the same as AWC either.
Do you really think trill at 3200CR is getting farmed by fire mages at #1 on ladder? Or even remotely bothered by their existence?

Really expect the big teams to be winning games in 20-50 damp range like all of BFA.
Would really be surprised if it was anything different.
Inb4 someone gets 100-0’d at combust at like 40% dampen and your LIKE C I TOLD U SO. like gee only took 10-15 minutes to do it

with the only non fire team being gores ww/war ww/ret or ww/shaman (both specs) / hpal
