Yeah… after years of Fire dominating and making Arcane and Frost players seem irrelevant, I can’t say I am that heartbroken. But it’s annoying anyway.

Tell them to give me a call. I play Arcane and I won’t make threads on the forums when I either don’t get a piece of loot or the RL makes any kind of decision whatsoever.
That’s cool but be careful! When arcane isn’t the meta mage spec anymore (for the raid), they’re going to expect you to swap to fire or frost.
Honestly if I were in a CE guild I’d just do it. Arcane is my fave but I’d either request to be able to gear a new mage, or spec swap my Arcane and gear an Arcane on my own time. That’s top game content. I’ll do what it takes to help the team.
