Maelstrom Weapon Rune Quest

There are 6-8 other shamans out here in Dustwallow trying to complete this quest. I’ve spent 2 hours and gotten 2 of the 10 drops and that’s being somewhat lucky of just being able to find them not already dead or tagged.

This quest chain is frankly just unbelievable. How do you even justify this? Who tested this? Who played this and seriously thought this was a good experience for players to go through? I’m usually completely okay with frustrations in an MMO, but this is just mind boggling how this ever got proposed, much less approved, to be in SoD.

There was a recent patch note saying they reduced the amount needed, but people are saying it didn’t update yet. I’d honestly just hold off until it’s fixed, seems like a complete waste of time to work on that when it looks like they plan on changing it

tbh it’s not even worth pursuing as it is right now. max stacks MSW doesn’t even allow you to spell weave as a melee
