Madseason boosting video

Ironically, it’s the fact that you’re willing to abandon the game altogether for something so trivial that proves your money has less value than the person that’s been actively subscribed for the last 15 years

Why would Blizzard want to cater to the guy that will drop everything and throw a fit because his shoe is untied vs the guy who’s just having a good time enjoying the game?

Weird world you live in. It isn’t the one the rest of us occupy, but it certainly sounds weird.

Only whiner here is you!

Money in the age of every other game company remastering and rebooting their old IP for free cash and nostalgia train hype.

NOT THE POOR TALENT TREES NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

HAHAHA

I have on numerous posts addressed the merits of boosting and the other subsequent paid services blizzard will offer after this one has broken through the barrier.

I could repeat myself to each new ad hominem attacker that engages, but it wouldn’t do any good. What good did it do madseason, people typing here are not interested in the truth.

They are interested in the power struggle of what they want vs what other people typing want. That’s it. It’s written plain as day for anyone to see, and the mental gymnastics people have engaged in to try and “debunk” obvious simple facts are disturbing.

The biggest take away for me from this thread is that university should be free to all citizens.

Oh man the talent tree complaint, haven’t seen that one in a hot minute! Boy it sure feels bad no longer having 50 different options of “increase x stat by 0.2%” where one point out of place meant you were worthless in group content vs the 3 different options of “actual new abilities or passives that significantly change the flow of the class” we have in retail now

But then there are people like you who wouldn’t benefit from it…

I’m not sure which flying changes you’re referring to there. If you mean when flying mounts were implemented into the game in original TBC…Streamers did not exist.

Says the goober crying about the change to talent trees in MoP… hahahaha

Was there something mistruthful about that quote that i’m missing?

Because otherwise that makes zero sense and is just you belittling people who like actual MMORPGS with talent trees.

You keep conflating your personal hang ups with “truth”, an objective thing that actually holds weight. Your hatred of the new talents over the old talents is awesome in how absolutely silly it is and really does take me back to when MoP released and a ton of people were just SURE it would be the end of WoW.

The fact that you’re fixated on a UI element as being so critical to your gameplay enjoyment, notably one that previously gave false choices and the illusion of choice, is just the cherry on the cake that is your childish whining.

Come on boys I’ve got more on tap.

Do you work for Fox news? Why are you fragmenting my statements, you know that’s a form of misrepresenting my position to make it easier on you to assail?

Yes it was only made possible by people who appreciate gameplay > convenience.

I know what Blizzard is motivated by, the same thing every corporation is. But this was only possible because of players like me, no…not ME specifically as people are so giddy to try and paint someone as thinking they are more important than others.

You have your dollar to spend and I have mine. I would characterize it that the last time a battle was waged for the soul of this community, your lot won.

How did that turn out? Do you play retail? were you one of the 8% remaining player population that was left before classic relaunched?

I was fact checking your otherwise incorrect statement. Classic came because the market, that is video games in general, were really into full swing with the whole remaster/reforged trend of old IP. We had already gotten WC3 Reforged, we’re getting D2 Reborn, we got SC Remastered, and Blizz has made a point to release old content anew to hype interest, and that’s just Blizzard. I’m sorry you don’t have any awareness but that’s how it is.

Blizzard. End quote. You’re just a consumer they hoped would buy it, but it was made possible by people at Blizzard, not you or people like you.

Pulling numbers out of your butt now eh? I haven’t played Retail since I killed Mythic Archimonde in WoD, but not because Retail is bad, but because I didn’t have time to play.

Durr.

It’s obvious you didn’t watch the video either.

The real question is - should I get the Battlemaster’s Determination trinket first (80 AP) or the Idol of Terror (chance of 65 agi when mangling)?

People at Blizzard : “You think you do…”

People like me : " No I actually do, and I will pay you for it."

Blizzard: “Ok then right this way”

That’s what went down.

Consider, for a moment: the first row of talents for Retribution Paladin in retail are

Zeal - increases autoattack damage and attack speed after using Judgement

Righteous Verdict - Templar’s Verdict increases the damage of itself within 6 seconds of casting

Execution Sentence - a cooldown that places a debuff on the target, and dealing a percentage of the damage deal within a small timeframe all at once

All 3 of these abilities have vastly different uses and circumstances where you would take them. Zeal is great for cleave, as more autoattacks means more possible procs of Art of War, granting a reset on the cooldown of Blade of Justice, generating more frequent Holy Power and allowing for more uses of Divine Storm. And finally, Execution Sentence is perfect for burst phases on boss encounters

Now, consider the first talent choices of Retribution Paladin in Classic…reduce the mana cost of Judgement and Seals, or increase the attack power bonus of blessing of might. Amaaaaazing, what a huge impact on gameplay…

Ha ha, don’t mind me going on this tangent, I just love an opportunity to discuss the “super amazing talent trees of old” vs the “boring no choice trees” of today

Trick question. I’m going to get the trinket first.

That figure is based off a poll conducted by a group of players and yes I will admit it’s not an exact number.

But why is that? Because Acti-Blizz has long since stopped trying to foster a cooperative community built on a two way relationship with it’s playerbase, 12 years ago.

They don’t give us any hard data anymore, because it’s not in their best interests.

And yes, there have many been reboots across several games, what does that say to you?

That nostalgiabaiting people is a quick path to money because they’ll eat it right up, complain how bad it is with hindsight, quit, and then bite on the next hook?

The only thing that bothered me about the talent tree change was they took too many signature class abilities and squirreled them away behind 1 spec’s talents. Something I hear they started to reverse in Shadowlands?

That is how you would chartacterize the last two years lol?

It’s not nostalgia, certainly not only that anyway. This is a vastly superior game to anything blizzard has released with the name warcraft under it.

I dont play to relive 2007 and you would be quite right to expectpeople who do to quit the game in short order once the scenery doesnt match the rose coloured view from the past.

But that’s not a motivator for someone continuing to play the game after 6 months…certainly not for someone who plays the game afull 2 years after release lol.

This game is better than retail and so I play it. The catering to whiny spoiled children who want things easily without effort is ubiquitous and THAT is why you are seeing this “nostalgia wave”.

It’s not a passing fad, it’s a divided playerbase waging war for what kind of game they want to play.

Make no mistake if you are for boosts then you are on the side of the tide pod generation.
