I’m sorry your day was ruined because of the pug system. It sucks. It also sucks that 10k people have already gotten KSM. Doesn’t seem like a good system if people are done with it within the first month of playing.

i agree. by the same logic, they should make mythic raids much harder because some people have already cleared those.

(also, most of the people who have KSM are not “done with” m+, they’re just getting started.)

it was very slow getting groups while my ingame IO score was purple. when it turned orange at 2200 iirc then it got easy to get in groups

When I was finding friends to form a static group I purposely found players that had 50-60+ timed keys from range 10-14, these are your grinders and most of them know the majority of the mechanics but like you have no one to play with.

This is actually really solid advice.

Keys have literally never felt worse.
I have a timed 19 AA and all 16-18 keys on my RDruid’s IO. We did a completion-20 w/ guildies. I’m not a random casual complaining about his +5 groups. My HPal is literally incapable of doing certain 16+s because he just happened to not get funneled 4pc, and my Pres is just taking too long to gear so he’s not in a better boat (RNG).

There are legit problems with the dungeons and Blizz is completely ignoring it. The fact that we don’t have a giant blue post right now nerfing the everloving crap out of bosses going into a Tyranical week means people will be doing LOWER keys than they were this week… IMAGINE GOING BACKWARDS?

Pug’ing feels near dead already. If you played in SL, this pug situation is already the same as 1-2 months into either S1 or S2, where it’s f’in dead and you spend 20 mins to form a group that disbands in one wipe.

There’re indirect issues with this +20 vault BS that are just making people feel like the ceiling is too high and it’s not even worth trying (which is actually true if you’re not a meta class…)

So…so…so many problems right now and literally nothing being done about it.

Got my keystone master about a week ago. Not bragging, apparently there are more than 10k KSM warriors out there in the world. Probably like 100k WoW characters have KSM by now.

It wasn’t easy playing alone with not so desired class (DPS warrior) You know you can perform for the group you are applying for but your application gets declined because you know, it doesn’t matter how good you are. No lust, no brez. Sometimes I go through hours getting declined before running a single dungeon which still has a chance to be disastrous. So many times, one wipe, a player leaves. There I just wasted hours of playtime. Of course, it’s a lot more time efficient when you run your own key however as you know, things still happen. After grinding over grinding, I got to the point there is nothing for me to gain unless +16 or higher. When you apply for +16 or higher, everyone is KSM. My key has become the only option.
One day I was determined to farm off my key possibly up to +18. I spent hours going +16~+13 back and forth. It was exhausting and stressful. After all day, I gained nothing. No score, no gear. I’m aware this is not a deadend but the whole experience felt like torture, not gaming. Fortified Nokhud is pretty arduous and right after 3rd boss, Tank left citing “key is bricked. I’m doing it for io” I get it there was nothing for him to gain. The group disbanded and I was left with another NO key. NO made me hate centaurs even horses now. That was the last straw.
The game has become way too stressful for me to keep playing.
Just my rant before signing out.

So you pug your way to KSM in the first 2 1/2 weeks into the Season and it’s the game that’s stressing you out.

I was wondering how HPaladin was holding up. I ditched it last minute before the expansion launch because I despise Of Dusk and Dawn. I literally told a friend last night that I have no idea how paladin heals some of these pulls.

Considering raid participation compared to Nathria it definitely looks to be in decline. Might be a bit too early but numbers of guilds seems significantly lower.

The 4pc bonus is literally mandatory if you want to compare to RDruid/Pres, and even then you’re still inferior but it’s at least possible…if your group stacks for you.

The playstyle is plenty fun and I do recommend it for anyone trying to be casual and maybe cap out at like 13-15, but after that… Especially on Tyran weeks… you need 4pc, tons of gear and a coordinated group to makeup for the fact that you didn’t choose one of the meta healers.
