Macro's using Legion API

Greetings,

Was curious if we’ll ever see changes for Classic and upcoming TBC servers to allow the macros that worked then to again work on their respective server.

In TBC for instance you had the famous hunter one button macro rotation as well as other !cast macros allowing druids to shift into the form they are already in etc.

I believe we should have access to the macros that were available at the time the game is trying to emulate. It’s the same reasoning you see things like Juju flurry not being fixed to work the intended way because it wasn’t fixed until later. If the macros were not broken until Wrath+ then they should work in Classic/TBC etc.

One button rotational was possible in vanilla, tbc, wrath, cata and mop, so maybe?

I would hope they would make the experience as true as possible to what it was by also allowing for the same macro behavior to exist.

Right now I’m classic there are macros that I had in actual vanilla but don’t work here in classic wow. I had previously a one button macro for sinister strike and backstab that helped to give me a little more room on the keyboard for weapon sea macros for different poison options but the positional sensitive stuff does not work in this game. There are some other things I had macro for that don’t work but they were minor details that can be fully automated now with add-ons. Strange how they prevent the macro stuff but you can just get an add-on that does exactly the same only better because it’s doing all that for you. The standard used to determine what went into classic and what didn’t get allowed looks very crooked to me.
