Macros pointing to crafting instead of crafted item

any insight on how to create a tbc macro that’ll simply use item enhancement items, such as Superior Wizard Oil, instead of having the macro point to the crafting of said item?
seemed to work a few weeks ago but not any longer.

I’ve never heard of a /use item macro opening a crafting pane. Does it do it when you’ve disabled all addons?

indeed it does. though it doesn’t actually open the pane. it just directly attempts to craft the item. generally resulting in an error because i dont carry my enchanting material in my bags with me most of the time

That’s really bizarre. You might try running the repair tool.

I did some googling, and it does look like this has come up for other people (but without solutions posted.) The wowhead page for Superior Wizard oil has a couple of comments that have macros that use the item ID. It seems worth a try. (It looks like you need to hardcode the #showtooltip for the icon to show up.)
