A ticket to blizzard did nothing and only resulted in telling me that they’re unable to help and that I should ask the community
Yes I know how to properly make macros
I likely won’t be re-subbing after this single issue. I have tried googling this and apparently I’m like the only person who is having this issue.
Update: they’re now displaying and functioning properly. All I did was make 4 macros in a row and then the 5th one displayed the picture properly for some reason and I can now drag it to my action bar. I still can’t delete the very first macro as it shows it as blank with commands but it’s better than nothing at this point.
Can you include an example of a macro that isn’t working for you?
also, this is your first post about this from this character and you’re threatening to unsub over a non game breaking issue. This kind of overreaction doesn’t help your cause and will only attract criticism.
I can’t do any of this on Retail yet all of my Classic macros show pictures and I’m able to drag them to my action bar. On Retail if I type all of this and select a picture for my macro it doesn’t display at all. Again, I can’t even drag it to my action bar.
This isn’t my first character btw. This is the first time this character has made a post on the forums.

If the GMs had to sit down with every person who’s having user issues, the wait times for actual game issues would be even longer. It’s not something they do, as they probably stated in your message.
I suppose I have no choice but to file a new ticket and see what they say. They essentially said there’s not much they can do with UI issues though so you are correct, but I’ll try one last time.
That’s a horrible idea. Honestly. Just go to the tech support forums, talk to people there. There are also many blue and green posters that post there as well that will help. If a mod sees this post here, they will move it anyways… so just go there…
Unfortunately, that’s very true. You might be able to ask in the Customer Support forum if anyone else has had this issue and knows of any solutions. I don’t know if they’ll move the post or if anyone will have answers, but it’s an idea.
You can try the Tech Support forum, as well… they usually don’t deal with UI issues, but they might have some ideas. No reason not to try all avenues.
