Hi!
I made a macro for mouseover an ability, which is a lvl 50 talent from Marksmanship.
This is the macro:
#showtooltip
/cast [@cursor] Volley
The problem is, whenever I don’t have this talent on, the icon remains visible (it’s not greyed out) and the tooltip just says “Volley”, nothing else. As If i had the ability but I obviously do not.
Select the ? for the icon.
It does the same except when talent isn’t on it shows the ? icon, otherwise it shows the Volley icon.
Can’t the icon be greyed out like when you don’t have that ability available?
Nope. Those are your two options.
While it’s super weird, you can do something along these lines if you just want a non “?” indicator that you don’t have the talent:
#showtooltip [talent:7/3]Volley;Cooking Fire
/cast [@cursor] Volley
You can actually use any spell in place of the Cooking Fire, but I like it because it works for any character with cooking, and it greys out in combat making it less distracting.
