Haven’t had my morning coffee yet, so if google just failed me, that’s probably why.
Currently tinkering with a new UI for PvP to help with vision loss, and for the most part a combination of elvui, GEX (especially), nameplate CDs and a few others are opening up things a bit more for me lately. However, the game doesn’t appear to have a way to detect - easily - if I’m in an arena or not to disable my default party frames, leading to a bit too much clutter on my screen.
My prior UI was using the “default” frames for elvui, but it’s just not feasible in 3’s anymore, and the setup required to get a similar effect to track everything my partners are doing just isn’t worth the effort.
Is there any sort of macro I can use to disable, and then renable the original party frames when I"m done with 2s/3s for an evening?
I’ve been able to find ones that fully disable them, but nothing to renable them afterwards.
That, or if anybody knows how to have elvui disable in /just/ an instanced arena, although I don’t think that’s actually possible.
This is one of the two last things I need to do before I consider the UI complete and workable for my needs. (…the other is toying with weak auras all day to see if I can get a health bar for a nameplate just for me, without enabling friendly nameplates as a whole.)
