This is for wotlk, I have a pet attack macro. And for 5 man groups and solo I’d like to throw hunter’s mark in there. In raid I do not want to use hunter’s mark with that keybind since I don’t have it talented. For raid I have hunter’s mark off to the side so if it is absolutely missing I can add it, so would be convenient to have it work so I hunter’s mark and send in pet in solo and 5-mans.
I also tried [group:party] and [group:none], [group:solo]
Seems like it doesn’t do anything as it casts hunter’s mark if I an in party, party or raid.
Is it possible to do what I want to do?
I tested this in retail, but the api should be the same. I had to add the [nomod] to the pet attack to get the pet to properly recall with the alt key. (I don’t know if that would be different in Wrath, as pet AI is different.)
Neither of those applier Hunter’s Mark whether I was solo or grouped (not raid).
That would be if I know or not know a spell right? What I meant by not talented, is there’s the baseline hunter’s mark and then there’s improved hunter’s mark - and only 1 hunter need to talent improved.
So, for some reason I missed the easier answer last night. (I blame it being too close to bedtime and my brain going into shutdown mode.)
[raid] isn’t a conditional, it’s a modifier to a conditional. (So, just like you need [mod:shift] instead of just [shift].)
So, the proper way to do the conditional is [nogroup:raid]. I just tested this (in retail) and it looks like it works, and the tooltip will behave a bit better:
