Is there a way I can put two spells on the same button so that if spell number 1 is on cd it will cast spell number 2 instead?
As long as they are not on GCD
specific example of what i am looking for would be for elemental blast. If it is on CD then I want that button to cast lightning bolt. Is that not possible?
Both, as far as i know, are GCD = normal, so you couldn’t use them as you’d like.
You could have the macro do both, but if the first failed you’d get the “i can’t do that right now” nonsense and have to press again anyway.
Macros can’t check for CDs or buffs or any of that.
you cannot make conditional macros as you describe

I’d suggest trying to go to the Macro forum and try to tell them what you have in mind. They have a LOT more ideas than could ever give them credit for. It probably won’t work but better to ask there than be shot down here, there might be a trick.
