I’m not sure if this is possible but can I make a macro that uses my rune skill that adds 30% crit (20 sec CD) to immolate and/or haunt so if it’s up it will use it if not it will still cast immolate or haunt still?

You can use gse macro addon
Block 1
/cast demonic grace
Pause gcd
Block 2
/cast immolate or haunt
The pause gcd prevents you spam too quick and your spell casting gets clipped. Not a must, you can try to use it and find the best way fits your style.
You still have to press the button two times. Or you can spam it if you are using haunt.
Gse is just a cast sequence Marco without dead lock. So if dg is ready, it casts dg first then im or haunt. If dg is on cd. It ignores the first key stroke and goes to cast im or haunt.
But I am not sure if it’s 100% optimized , you need to try and test it yourself. Btw I do use it for my lock exactly the same purpose as yours
