Could someone enlighten me on why this macro half works?
/cast Windfury totem
/use Blood Fury
/cast Ascendance
/cast Heroism
/cast Bloodlust
It will cast the totem, but not ascendance or hero
If I change the first line to ascendance it will cast it but no the totem and hero.
to start I am assuming that /use blood fury is a trinket item? because there isn’t a blood fury spell in any spec. so if it is a trinket or an effect on any item then it has to be /use item # like on my trinkets I use /use item 13.
Second /cast bloodlust I am assuming you are an orc and using your racial ability?
Other than that if you would use this
/cast windfury totem
/cast Acendance
/cast Heroism
/cast bloodlust
/cast item #
Since I don’t play play an orc shaman I cant tell you if that would exactly work the way you want it its close to the macro I use which is the
/cast windfury totem
/cast Ascendence
/cast Heroism
Since my racial is more pvp designed with the dark iron dwarves in my view point I just pop my racial when I need to.
I hope this helps a little.
Because not all of the stuff is off the global cooldown.
You can macro any amount of stuff that is off the global CD together and one item that is on the global cooldown. The macro stops as soon as it executes a spell on the global CD.
That is why changing the order of the skills will fire off a different ability and not the rest.
Your macro would have worked pre-nerf (like 2 expansions ago). It hasnt been possible for a very long time now.

oh man no wonder… I kept breaking my head trying to figure out different macro combinations. I also hadn’t played my shammy since MoP, so I missed out on these changes. Thanks for all the responses.
