Anyone have macros that work for the following:
Consume magic + disrupt
Feel eruption + mana burn
Focus imprison
Focus imprison is easy:
#showtooltip
/cast [@focus,harm,nodead][] Imprison
Casts it on your focus if it’s a living enemy, else on your current target. I also like including [@mouseover,harm,nodead] in mine (before or after the focus block, your choice, whichever is first is the priority), lets me cast without having to target them first.
Fel Eruption and Mana Burn are both on the GCD, they cannot be macroed except through modifier keys or a cast sequence.
Why would you want to macro Consume Magic and Disrupt together? You should be using them at the appropriate times, not just mindlessly spamming them. The likely result of that macro is that one or the other of them will be on cooldown when you actually need them.
Only situation I can think of this being useful is when you dispel Divine Favor and then interrupt Holy Light from Holy Paladins. But that’s considering you actually dispel the right buff with it being their only buff at the time or you are just gambling.
Right, but such a macro wouldn’t work against that, because the two actions occur simultaneously. The interrupt would fire before Divine Favor was actually removed, putting it on CD.
Well, yeah. Only way to remedy that is doing a /castsequence macro, but that would pretty much defeat the whole purpose of the idea in the first place, so it’s better to use them separately.
Well @OP, it should be /castsequence reset=combat/10 Consume Magic, Disrupt ------ if you are still interested for some reason. It resets the sequence after 10s or if you leave combat. It’s been a long time since I’ve ever used a /castsequence macro, but this one should work.
Also /castsequence Fel Eruption, Mana Rift ----- just make sure you have at least 60 Fury before you use it.
