After playing my druid, I came to realize that there is abug with macroing celestial alignment without orbital strike talented.
Without orbital strike, CA is supposed to be spell id 194223. The spell id for CA w/ orbital strike is supposed to be 383410. Unfortunately, it seems that when the talent was adjusted to add whirling stars as a choice node with orbital strike, blizzard made it so that both spell id’s attempt to cast CA w/ orbital strike. Attempting to cast the spell by its name “celestial alignment” also attempts to cast CA w/ orbital strike (you get the targeting graphic on the ground and everything, but you can’t cast the spell). If you create a macro using either aforementioned spellid’s in the macro #showooltip [known: ] it even shows the text for CA w/ Orbital strike talented.
This seems like an easy fix, and would be greatly appreciated if someone could do so.
