Macro Doomwinds & Sundering?

I haven’t mained enh since original mop so its been awhile and trying to get used to all these buttons. I really like the playstyle of Totemic.

I know macroing doom winds to sundering totem is bad, but what about macroing doom winds to sundering?

Would have to be:

#showtooltip Sundering
/cast Sundering
/cast Doom Winds

That way you could still cast Sundering while Doom Winds is on CD. It seems most of the guides I see say to always try to line those two up, so I feel like it makes sense. Am I missing something?

You want as many doom winds globals to be lava lash or cl/ss, so you’re wasting a global if you macro sunder into doom winds.

If you were to macro the two together, you’d want to cast Doom Winds first as every target hit by Sundering during Doom Winds will trigger Windfury because Sundering counts as a Main Hand attack.
