Macro Conditional Melee vs Ranged

I’d like to do something like:

#showtooltip
/cast [melee] Raptor Strike; Arcane Shot

But there doesn’t seem to be a melee conditional for macros. Is there something similar or a workaround that I’m missing? Particularly one that can show the proper tooltip?

Also, is something like this Wiki the best place for me to find macro documentation, or is there any official source?

There isn’t any way to do what you want. The available conditionals are pretty limited as they want the player to have to make decisions.

I believe that the active wow wiki people have all moved over to wiki.gg, so wowpedia will probably start falling out of date.
