Macro broken since patch

My Ghostwolf / Spirit Wak macro isn’t working since the recent patch.

It often doesn’t work at first then randomly start working. Very annoying. Any help would greatly be appreciated. To be clear, everything worked fine before the Undermine patch.

The macro I’m using is:

#showtooltipassist
/cast [nomod] Ghost Wolf
/cast [mod:shift] Spirit Walk

EDIT: randomly I just tried mounting to see if it would change anything and the macro now works for the moment. I’m sure it will break again. Any ideas what’s causing this?

…aaaaaaaand now it’s broken again.

Probably better off moving this to the UI/Macros forum. Someone there might be able to point out what’s causing it to not work as expected.

I think it’s a bug though, but point taken.

It works sometimes when I press it and sometimes not. I’m checking if this is a hardware issue or not. I have the macro assigned to my middle mouse button. It seems to work in other applications fine but in wow it’s laggy/unresponsive when assigned to middle mouse. Just tested with another button and it was working better but not sure what the issue is still.

Which aspect of it? The entire macro? Just the mod shift portion?

yes, the entire macro doesn’t work. With nomod, no ghostwolf, for example. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t for multiple presses (not during global cd).

Are you mousing over unit frames when it stops working?

No. I’m starting to think it might be my mouse but I’ll have to test again in another game or app.

Yeah, I haven’t been able to replicate any issues with the macro, even though I don’t understand what tooltipassist is supposed to mean.

Could try this and see if its any different, or maybe changing the keybind to a keyboard key.

Thanks for trying. Hopefully I can figure it out.

Also, I believe tooltipassist changes the tooltip based on the modifier? I’m not sure, lol.
