Are there ways to copy paste /way lists that exceed 255 characters? It seems all the /way lists for treasures on wowhead all have way more than 255 characters. It would be nice if I could copy paste them all at once instead of having to create so many macros to get the waypoints. Used to be able to use macro toolkit to get extended macros but apparently Blizz broke that functionality in TWW.

Hey Elvenbane, sorry I don’t have a better place to say it so at the (minimal) risk of off-topic deletion - thank you for being the absolute macro legend. I’ve been playing WoW competitively for more years than I care to admit and while at this point I consider myself a macro guru, I owe most of everything I’ve learned in that realm to you. You’re a pillar of the community many of us reference and as far as I can tell you just…do it for the love of the game. If I am just wildly unaware and have not connected you as some social/streamer/whatever know it’s only because I am an overworked millennial and I slightly missed the boat on all that. You’re scary good at hopping in on any macro discussion or request for help, and I just feel like thousands of us owe you so much. So thanks for being such a rock solid guy/gal idk, you’re the best kind of legend in my eyes: one that elevates everyone around them.

You’re correct that I’m not a streamer. The only community stuff I do outside of macros is that I’m a mod for Warcraft Priests.
I love macros, have been using them as my keys exclusively since BC (the real one), and want everyone to be able to leverage the enhanced functions and quality of life they bring to the game (that and poorly written macros hurt my soul).

The addon you want is CopyPasta2.
You just click the button on your minimap and copy your long list of coords in the box. Then you click the button “Paste”

TomTom has a built in extended waypoint list pasting ability: /ttpaste will open a window into which you can control-v a list of waypoints to be submitted to the game.
I use copypasta for this type of thing too, but you don’t need it if you’re using a recent build of TomTom.
