MacBook Air m2 graphic settings

Hey I was wondering if anyone could send some setting recommendations my way, I’ve been having some frame rate issues since the launch of the new expansion

Hey Louu!

Hope this helps! Here are the settings I use on my base model M2 MacBook Air (8GB RAM – broke college student here). I can’t push the highest graphics, but I consistently get smooth framerates around 75 FPS. I can hit 100 FPS, but 75 keeps my Mac cooler, and I don’t notice much difference. I use an MSI Modern MD2412PW monitor (1920x1080, 100Hz, 4ms response) and keep my Mac on a cooling pad with a fan pointed at the keyboard to avoid overheating. No thermal issues so far! I monitor temps with the “Hot” app, and I range between 45-90°C, with the high end only in raids or busy areas. Here are the specs I’m running:

a good one is to lower rendering resolution to 1080p and then just upscale with super res
its basically the same as 4k visually but uses like half the power
