I’ve been playing on a M2 Max 12‑core CPU, 38‑core GPU and I’m always amazed it keeps 60 fps most of the time at 10 graphics on a 5k display (although with the liquid detail turned low, as that still seems to be the kryptonite for WoW on MacOS).
Think the M4 Studio will be a big jump for game performance?
wel if you’re talkinga bout max can already compare it now with m4x 40 core macbook pro, but an m4 ultra will obviously destroy an m2 ultra by a massive amount. at least 50%+ gpu gains
Mac studio is a beast. I mean my 13" MBA runs wow pretty decently for a fanless device. But we have some studios at work for design purposes and they can handle a ton. I think even a mac mini pro is pretty good for wow.
