I am wondering if it is normal to see the WoW folder listed as “Other” storage in the “About this Mac” section.
If it is normal, is there a reason why it shows under other instead of applications?

It’s probably because WoW stores its data outside of the WoW app bundle, /Library/Application Support/ folder, and /Users/username/Library/Application Support/ folder, which is different from how most mac apps do things, which is preventing it from associating WoW’s data files with WoW. All it means is the About this Mac storage section isn’t very good at categorizing data.
