Assist with Mac - wow won’t launch. macOS 15
Hi, guys. Long time world of Warcraft player here.
I stopped playing for some months. I play with Mac.
Recently, I bought a subscription again, and installed Battle.net and WoW.
It doesn’t launch— I click play, it says “launching,” and simply doesn’t. . I reinstalled wow a million times, and it still won’t launch. I moved the installation folder from one folder to another, and it still won’t work. I provided both apps with full permissions on my Mac, and it still won’t launch.
Requested assistance through the ticket system, and all the articles they showed me, tried them and didn’t work.
Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve got the same problem and I’ve tried many things such as reinstalling the game and battlenet, scan & repair, many reboots, etc.
I think the issue is with WoW itself and not Battlenet because even running the game from the folder won’t start it. This suddenly happened and I have no idea how to resolve it.
I’m having this problem too, but it was working earlier today. Tried two computers. Retail won’t launch on either one. Cataclysm launches fine though.
Same. QA has gone out the window I feel lol
Well , I think my battle.net launcher page updated recently , so you might want to check if there is a small green arrow by the battle.net icon on the launcher page.
If that fails , you can probably enter wow by going in to the retail folder and clicking on the World of Warcraft icon and go directly in from the password screen.
Sometimes this repairs the launcher .
I would also try clicking on the battle.net icon in the world of warcraft folder directly and make sure the task bar icon wasn’t corrupted, this has happened to me.
This is just stuff you can try till a tech comes in here and replies to you.
