Mac (ARM 64) PTR Patch 9.2.5 Not Loading/Gone?

Hello,

About a week ago I was able to play on the 9.2.5 PTR using my M1 MacBook Pro, but as of recently the game simply will not load. No error message, I just hit the play button and it says loading, nothing happens, then returns to the play button.

I tried uninstall and reinstall of the PTR client and it seems to go through the motions but ends up doing the same thing.

Lastly I check the ptr folder in my WoW directory and it is empty?

Anyone run into something similar? Also WoW Retail runs fine. Thanks!

That is correct, the latest PTR build for 9.2.5 did not include a mac binary at all. Probably wasn’t ready for this build and blizzard has never been known to care if the mac binary works or not when pushing a beta or PTR build. I’d watch for it to reappear in next build or two.

I appreciate the reply! Is there ever an announcement for such or I just have to click the launch button and hope it works lol

you’ll know there is a new build when build number increases, then you see if it works again.

Same problem today (April 13) on my Mac.
Does Blizzard care?

honestly? not really… i’m sure they’ll fix it eventually but they certainly won’t rush to do so.
