M1 Mac multicolor dots on people

Anyone know why this is happening? Every time I see people their amor doesn’t really load in and there’s like multi color dots all over them.

I’m having the same issue, also M1 mac… Started with new TBC client… Its weird because as an example… As an example Warriors wearing t3 cause this problem, mostly on legs, boots. When I view T3 model in Atlas loot, everything renders correctly.

Please Blizzard fix this, its happening on a lot of different armor models.

Howdy!

We are seeing report about this and would like a bit more data. If you press “Esc” -> System -> Disable Anti-Aliasing does that help? If not does disabling SSAO under Graphic help or impact this issue at all?

Thank you.

Here’s a pic are of what it looks like FTR.

Ok I tested both on PTR and TBC Classic and its present in both. The actual issue appears to be rendering other models, not your own.

As a quick test that to confirm, I did the following to replicate.

Client 1 - Mage wearing Tabard of the protector, model renders correctly on my own character both in game and character panel

Client 2 - Any character, when viewing my mage the model does not render correctly both from the inspect screen and from viewing in game.

I have a screenshot showing this but I can’t seem to include link.

To include a link, encase it within two ` (grave) symbols, like so: `https://www.apple.com`

Heres a photo, seems to be certain armor models just don’t render correctly when viewing other characters. Also I’ve noticed it effects eyes on certain people.

I’ve also verified on my 16’ Macbook Pro that this issue is not present.

I am having the same issue on my M1 Mac Mini 8gb. I have disabled all graphics settings in the Advanced section and tried reducing all graphics settings to low… there is no change, other players look like they have a multicolored disease.

The part that really doesn’t make sense is that my own character or NPCs wearing the exact same item are unaffected. The easiest example of this is the tabard from the prepatch portal event is one of the worst looking items with this problem. Only other players wearing the tabard are affected but standing right next to them my same tabard looks completely normal.
