Currently on a MacBook Pro M1 2020 8GB ram, and was playing DF just fine a few months ago. Recently, it started to freeze during raids. M+ still seems ok. During raid of any sort, I get random freezes or extreme stutter for about 5-10 seconds, sometimes 2-3 times per fight. Laptop does not feel hot/overheated, and once it resumes, its perfectly smooth even if there’s a lot of things happening in the raid encounter with 20-25 people, so I don’t think it’s a matter of the M1 not being able to handle the raid. Is this happening to anyone else? I haven’t noticed it outside of raid. Im upgrading to Sonoma right now hoping it will fix it, and try the new gaming mode…

Not sure if it was a wow update, or the M1 gaming mode but the freezes are completely gone. I didn’t really make any changes to settings or addons. Pugging raid and M+ again with no freezes. Happy Camper again.
