M0 difficulty

I dont do Mythic or M+ anymore, last time was in DF. But have just tried to do some 0’s for the weekly, though i’ve been getting absolutly wrecked playing this Guardian 639IL(pugging) i know my class well, i believe, but i feel like i’m missing something really big but i’m not sure what.

As an example, both time’s i’ve tried, it’s been on cinderbrew meadery, pulling 5 mobs at a time at the beginning.

i’ve heard blizzard has nerf’ed these dungeons also, so i’m scratching my head more.

if anyone could enlighten me perhaps i’d appreciate it.

Thanks.

If you’re getting destroyed by 5 mobs in a m0 you’re doing something very wrong and need to reevaluate how well you actually know your class. Use defensives and keep your fur thing up.

yeah, i’m keep ironfur up and barkskin on cd. and using my globals.

Weave in frenzied regeneration too. If you’re pulling big you ought to use Ursoc berserk or Rage of the sleeper.

If you don’t use those you’ll have to ask the healer to not afk.

thanks Tom, i’m doing that also. i’ve never had a problem before TWW so i thought the difficulty was just ramped up. It may well be the healers are the issue at this point.

cheers

At that level and that ilvl, you should be basically immortal. Most likely, you’re dropping iron fur coverage or standing in bad stuff, or both. If the pull goes on long enough, there’s a bleed that stacks up really high, that might be it too.

Hello bodmin! Are you pulling chef chewie in the first pull? Try avoiding his patrol until the room is clear of hired muscles. Also, there is a lot happening in those pulls, you may be standing accidentally in the yellow circles on the ground. If you die, check the recap or damage meter to show what’s killing you and see what mobs are doing what in order for you to avoid any future mistakes. Lastly, read your defensive button abilities and what they do. Generally, as a tank you want to stagger your defensive buttons and not press them all at once. This allows you to stay alive for the entirety of the pull instead of being invincible for the first 30 seconds and then flopping over. I know it’s a lot of info but little by little you will improve I’m sure of it.

M0’s are a very steep step from heroics. But once you do m0’s it gets easier

There’s something missing for sure. At 640 I was doing 7-9 on my alt prot warrior. Did 10s at like 650 or so.

That said, the first room on Cinderbrew can wreck a tank. If you pull too many patrons and they take too long to kill you can get a ton of bleed stacks. It shouldn’t be a big problem in M0 though.

One thing to keep in mind is at the end of dragonflight they changed the scaling so M0’s were closer to +10-+12 keystone rather than a step up from heroics or timewalking like they used to be. Then in TWW they updated the scaling even more for m0’s increasing it by like 25% if i remember correctly.

So m0’s are more difficult than you may remember, relative to what they used to be.
