Tried it in Mists… works beautifully. Have to position properly though, so don’t worry if you get an error at first. Position your camera properly & place the portal well beyond the elevation.
Heard someone say locks can place a portal in Spires to skip that last pack on top of the stairs before Oryphrion. Has anyone tried it?

Nice… would take away the trickiest part of the run. With someone trying to cc, someone trying to invis & my pet ending up pulling everything despite what everyone does. A little description would be awesome though.
you can just literally just walk on the stairs after you hop off that side railing/ledge…walk about halfway up, gateway from where youre standing onto the “curb” and it should cast and keep everyone outta range.
This mists skip looks interesting but I feel like it’d put you even further behind in percentage, esp if the maze was extra bad. Sure, the worms at the end are pretty easy to burn, but I’m not sure it would be a huge time saver. I’ll have to test it this weekend to get a better idea.
The normal pack that is skipped (2nd pack skipped with the one in the video), you can skip that with a lock gate too, which is nice so you can always pot the burn phase of the 1st boss.
Definitely want to burn that villager pack, use the gateway skip, and then go into the adjacent pack. You’ll always get your prideful right after the two chonky bois in the boss room.
