M+ Valor make it alt friendly!

Let me send my valor to an alt that can actually use it.

Thanks!

Making currencies account wide = less time played.

Blizz ain’t having that

Reduce your time played? Never!

this right here. I have 8000 soul ash, a ton of anima, and valor on this guy but blizz would never allow me to send it to my alt.

Should be done, as should reputation.

Where does this come from? Less time played on each character does not mean less time playing WoW. Even less time playing WoW does not mean less subscription time.

I think this is a terrible association between grind = $$$, which is not correlated.

It’s less time played. If I can gear my alt quickly I’d spend less time playing him to gear him up.

Yeah, then you could play another alt. Or, actually participate in end game content, high level raid, M+, and PvP. Would love to be able to PvP with a few alts, but gearing and everything Soulbound means I ain’t got time for that.

It’s not less time played…it’s less time grinding a particular character.

What? Let’s say I use my main for pvp mostly. With the current system my main has zero use for honor after I exceed 200 ilvl gear but just by doing arena/rbgs etc I’m still getting the honor currency that I have no use for from doing content I was going to do anyway.

So now instead of sending honor to my alts to have them catch up really quickly I have to go and re-farm honor for them even though I have it on another character not being used.

Two characters farming the same content = more time played.

My main has been honor capped for literally months lol.

You understand that “grinding a particular character” takes time… right?

They just put Marks of Honor into the PvP vendor, you can buy those with honor.

Which would be so nice.

Which is a deterrent to start a new character. “I have to do all that !@#$ again?!” How boring.

Not true. Because then I’m just going to have less characters and going to get bored faster using the same character for the same end-game over, and over, and over…nothing fresh

Two characters farming the same content = boring tedium = less time played

You understand that time could be spent doing something else in game…you know something that is actually fun rather than the same thing over, and over, and over…

I just stopped reading here. Yeah sure I could spend all my honor on marks of honor and then have 600 marks of honor with nothing to spend them on. Terrible argument that is irrelevant to what we’re talking about lol.

Which is why all currency and reputation should be account bound. So that you can actually use the very little you are rewarded with for playing the game.

You brought it up… I was just saying you could technically do something with your honor.

You really should try to read all of it. I’m making some very valid points that will be taken as correct if you can’t refute them. Though I’m right, so maybe you’d rather be silent than agree?? :man_shrugging:

It’s still less time played. If stuff was account wide I could send my 8000 soul ash to my alt, make his legendary max rank (that right there saves a month of torghast, ~1.5-2hrs a week x 4 weeks = roughly 8 hrs played). I could also send him my honor I’m capped out on, way less time grinding honor, same could be said for valor, then I can just grind a few mythics, get my BiS pieces and max them to 220. At that point I’ve cut down my required play time on my alt big time and can just do a raid and my 14’s for the week and “raid log”.

Blizzard doesn’t want you spending less time in-game.

Wow… This is like saying I like cheese because the sky is blue.

Yes, you would not be spending the time grinding out a character to max everything. You would be spending the time actually playing the “post-grind” game.

Maybe this argument is something to say about game design? WoW is all grind, the game is the grind. Why are you grinding? To grind more? This is disappointing though and would almost certainly reduce game time via sub time.

You’re dense bro. You said it’s not less time played but it is. Math is hard.

That’s low. Nice resort to personal attacks when you can’t hold up your side of the discussion. Enjoy your vacay

You just can’t admit you’re wrong.

Idk valor feels like the most alt friendly thing this xpac to me

Odd, I have many complaints of m+, but as far as I read, valor from m+ is very alt friendly, you could just do a +1 and get the same amount of valor as a +15.

I can agree with reps, but not currency. That would mean you would play your main to gear up your alt, and never really pkay your alt, defeating the point of having an alt other then gathering proffs.

No, you can still play your alt and enjoy the “after geared up” part of the game. All shared currency would do is allow you to benefit from all the excess currencies that are useless on the character it’s stuck on.
