My buddy has a fully upgrade hero staff, but can’t trade a lower ilvl one hander item. This really needs to be changed.

Samesies, friend. I came on here to look for similar posts. Dude got the Entropic Skardyn Core from Rookery. He was wearing the SAME exact one (same track level/ilevel) and he couldn’t trade it to me.
I’m assuming in your case it’s reading 1 hander as a completely separate weapon slot/ID, which is ridiculous.
I think every single person that plays this game would agree
They solved a small problem by making the game worse for everybody
At least have some leniency, I got my healer’s bis ring but couldn’t trade because mine is 2/6 and the ring was 3/6

Yeah it makes no sense. A staff is considered a main hand weapon but puts the item level up for your offhand too. Just have your friend equip the offhand so the next one they get, they can trade to ya.
Ooph…that’s on you for not using the Cyrce’s Circlet trick to make upgrading rings to 658 only cost valorstones.

correct. because staff =/= 1h
but, yes. they should unrestrict trading.
