M+, successful, 1 item, 5 people

The RNG is unfun, but I played. This is where I’m drawing the line.

You run a successful key and one person out of five gets a single piece of loot, two sometimes. You double/triple plus the key? Same thing. Over and over and over.

How in the hell is it ok that you run a successful key run, and from 4 bosses 5 people have a chance at getting one piece of loot for the whole dungeon? Maybe two if you’re lucky?

I’m sick of grinding out mythic plus and seeing everyone straight up disappointed at the end.

Something has to change. Bring back a token system or something. Grinding out mythics to get additional RNG from the vault is a huge let down after 2-3 weeks. It won’t last.

Take your off spec conduit drops Blizz and shove it.

Its not one or two if you’re lucky. You complete it on time and you get 2.

If you got one item, you didn’t time the key. Timing guarantees two.

How could some guilds spend 3 weeks and 400 wipes to kill a boss and only 3 people out of 20 get an item?

Because Mythic+ is a source of gear that is capable of being spammed, unlike raids or pvp (due to conquest cap). If you have 3 pieces of loot drop per run, it’ll get people Mythic Raid-levels of gear in no time, and Blizzard doesn’t want that. Good for them. It takes less effort to do M+ than it does raiding, let alone mythic raiding, thus your rewards are going to be less apparent in them unless you’re doing a lot of them.

That’s so annoying, I’ll do M0 instead where the group gets 1-2 piece per boss

There’s nothing wrong with that. Just don’t complain about only getting 184 loot.

5 hard-working players = 5 pieces of loot at the end. That’s how it should be.

if you only got one item, you didn’t run a successful key

Fair enough, just people not looting then when it only shows one.

Yeah and get fully geared out in less than a week’s time. So after week 1, instead of the loot whining threads, there’s no content whining threads instead. No thanks.

Fully geared in a week, hah.

I assume then 20 hardworking people in a raid = 20 pieces of loot per boss right?

By your own logic, if your group is getting 5 pieces of loot a dungeon, and you run, let’s say, 5 dungeons a day for maybe 4-5 days a week. That’s 20-25 pieces of loot in ONE week PER person.

You think that sounds good? Yikes.

How many drop per boss now? Is it like three or something? Raids are more difficult to balance for.

Sounds cool, it would kill ego, and I would laugh.

It would also kill any sort of longevity the expansion has. But as long as you get your loot and giggles, hey, who cares about the health of the game.

The game will be fine, it has survived every doom-and-gloom soothsaying about people getting gear, and still will.

And that includes the current loot system.

So enjoy. Work harder for your rewards.

No but I would like a token so I know that if I run the same +6 key 20 more times I can purchase the item from a vendor.

Wrath, Mists both had great systems in place and they chose pure RNG this time and it is unfun and frustrating. My weekly loot chest vault is another kick in the nuts. Weekly RNG world boss, kick in the nuts.

Only thing that isn’t pure RNG is pvp. So now I have the choice to get versatility pvp gear or run mythic loot box plus.

It’s 3 per 20.

I’m just applying the same logic as yin to raids.
