M+ solo queue is much needed!

No, because you’d still have groups with players who have no business being in those keys, and would therefore be unable to even reach the 1st boss.

I remember doing an alt run of a 6 with a ~606 VDH and something like 1500 score where it took us 20 min to kill the 1st boss because he kept dying. We ended up disbanding after 78 min on Stitchflesh because one of the ~600 ilvl DPS was doing almost no damage (think DF S4 damage) , and Stitchflesh punishes low damage extremely hard.

Not saying it would never happen or that every group would be successful, but I think it would be much less likely than with the current system if everyone had a personal rating or key that was staked before doing a certain run. It would limit the ability to queue for things you aren’t capable of doing because it would require a certain rating gained from doing the previous levels, and you’d quickly lose that rating if you boosted. As it stands now, I can queue for a +10 on a fresh 80 and if a group is unfortunate enough to take me, that key is getting bricked, with no consequences for me, I can just start spam applying to other groups. The same is true for if I’m being a jerk in those groups, leaving, etc. Every player should have some skin in the game.

As much as I’d like this and have asked for it, I don’t think it would work mainly because of the 15-20 different queues everyone would be seperated into.

That’s assuming it’s added as a “join random M+2” and you can’t select what dungeon you go into.

But if I was to add it, I’d have the player place their key into the LFG tool UI, that then let’s then queue for a random dungeon of the same keystone level they have unlocked.

Everyone that joins the group has a key on the line then, so if your group fails everyone key takes a hit, I’d also make it that no matter how fast you complete the run the key can only ever go up by 1 level.

I’d use this system with my tank, but I think spreading the queue out over that many keystone levels would result in extremely long to never ending queues.

Is the lfg system going to get you hero, battle res, soothe for dungeons that need it, and also give tanks and healers 3k worth of runes?

Because honestly that’s the only way it have a chance.

You’d have to pay me a LOT more than 3k to tank a key for 4 people I didn’t pick lol, especially if I wasn’t allowed to leave

I think the gold reward (a high enough one to convince anyone that is) for tank/heal would encourage a lot of really bad tanks/healers though and make group quality even worse, its a tough problem to solve IMO.
