M+ should stop giving vaults for over timed keys

Maybe that would help others get on the same page about actually timing the keys. People doing keys they have no business being in, then wanting to hold people who are there for io score hostage because they want their vault slot.

+10’s for example, if you’re only in 10 for score but people want their mythic vault loot, of course they wont agree to abandon

I think the real punishment should be if you cannot time the key, you don’t get the vault reward for the key

They goal should be to time keys, not spend 1 hour + doing a dungeon for a vault.

Problems arise when people want to leave cause they were only there for score, and others want to stay for a vault - when the score seeker might already have a full vault for the week and get nothing out of it.

I don’t disagree. m+ is too lucrative in failure.

you fail to time you still get
loot
score (if you only failed a little bit)
crests
vault credit

it’s crazy.

Yep, meanwhile can’t down a raid boss and you get nothing

No loot
No vault credit

Just ask the group, before starting the key, if they are there for the vault or for score.

I don’t see any need for that. It would only contribute to more toxicity.

The tradeoff would be removing key depletion for failing.

I’m all for it personally. Rewarding failure in an infinitely spammable game mode is kind of ridiculous as it is.
